There are an estimated 10,000 voluntary and community groups and charities working across the county of Essex.  If you would like to engage with or link into the voluntary and community sector in Essex getting in touch with EACVS is a good place to start and can save you a lot of time.

Representatives from every district in Essex meet on a regular basis so news and information about your consultation or activity can be cascaded quickly and widely.

Individual members of EACVS may take on specific responsibility to speak on behalf of EACVS to Essex County Council and other Essex-wide bodies and organisations, or to take the lead on a portfolio of work or an issue.  They are responsible for reporting, collecting and expressing views from EACVS to other bodies, and vice versa.

Organisations wishing to contact, make representation to, or invite representation from EACVS should initially contact either, Chris Evans via email: Chris@bbwcvs.org.uk or Lorraine Jarvis via email: lorraine@chelmsfordcvs.org.uk
